The Virginian System

This system was built to look like it just came off a movie set of an old Western. And so it did. We built this "look alike" system for Trace Atkins in the re-make of "The Virginian".

The CFD13 is a work of art designed to be an extremely fast holster but still using the styling that was present in the late 1800's. The CFD13 is a "Real" Mexican loop holster where the pocket of the holster actually pulls through slots cut into the skirt to hold the holster in place. Just the way they did it in the OLD WEST!

The difference here is the inside of the holster and the built in parameters including a muzzle forward sweep, makes this one fast holster. So the CFD13 meets all the requirements the modern day Fast Draw Shooter needs to not only be competitive but to take his or her ability to the top and win a world title.

And, to keep everything as authentic as we could in the looks department, we then made a belt that has the aged look and (18max) pull through loops that says this could have been built in the 1800's. The difference is this belt is made out of a 10oz. leather backed with a suede lining to stabilize the belt to the body when in a shooting position. Finally, to preserve the system, we completed with an acrylic finish for a long lasting luster.

By special request we can leave this with no acrylic "dull" finish for re-enactment or a movie roll.
