This holster is specifically for those who draw with the left hand then move the gun to the right hand to cock and fire it (palming).  Vise versa for the left handed person.  These pictures will show how the clearances are designed into the system to create the fast gun transfer.  Holsters and shank area are full metal lined to maintain their shape at all times. Also, the metal allows the user to set the retention needed on the gun Ref Image # 2.
