The 2009 ”Boy Scouts of America“ Rig
Once again it was our pleasure to be involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
This year the winning bidder was Fiddletown Flash of Fiddletown California
Each year we donate our time and material to help out the Local Fernley chapter of The Boy Scouts of America.
We create a holster auction with one of the host members of the High Plains drifters becoming the auctioneer. This event happen Saturday evening at the banquet of the Western States SASS shoot hosted by the High Plains Drifters When the auction is over the High bidder then writes there check right then and there to the Boy Scouts.
It is with both pride and pleasure that we announce the winning bidder wrote there check to the Boy Scouts for 2200.00 for this years event. In turn we built him this holster valued to the sum of $4400.00
As you look the pictures over you will see small details on the rig like the fiddle inset into the head of the buckle along with his handle set in silver with gold pate writing. Most of the silver was custom made to create this project.
These funds allow the troop to do all kinds of activities including trips they may not have been able to take otherwise.
From all of us at Mernickle Holsters we would like to thank all the shooters that took a part in the bidding. And we would especially like to thank Fiddletown Flash as the winning 2009 bidder for his Generosity.
Contributing to this project was in no particular order was
